We recently rescued a dog from Happy Tales, a local animal shelter, and named her Gracie. It can be tough to type while your fingers are being gnawed on.

Taking in a dog will make your whole life better. It hapened to me once. Who needs fingers!
You are not kidding. We waited over a year after putting our dog down to even start thinking about getting another dog. And we got her the first day we started looking. We found out that she was rescued from a pound the day before we took her home and she was scheduled to be put down the next day at the pound.
