Sea Wolf

Mark your calendars boys and girls, the debut album from indie newcomers, and Alex Church's outlet, Sea Wolf, Leaves in the River, hits the shelves September 25. If their debut EP, Get to the River Before it Runs Low, is any indication, they could be one of the next big names on the indie circuit. The songs are a nice mix of melodic indie-pop/rock with a folkish emphasis on intimacy and sincerity; an inviting fusion of the melodies and songwriting prowess Connor Oberst and Jeff Tweedy. And yes the band's name was inspired by the Jack London novel of the same title.

The band has been kind enough to host a couple of tracks of their EP.
You're a Wolf (mp3)
The Garden That You Planted (mp3)
The next two tracks will appear on the new album
Middle Distance Runner (mp3)
Black Dirt (mp3)
