Introducing "Your 33 Black Angels"

This is a story of a little known New York band, heavily influenced, or so they sound by historic New York band, the Velvet Underground. These five gentlemen decided to call themselves Your 33 Black Angels (MySpace). They released a quiet little independent LP last year called Lonely Street on numbered vinyl. The buzz began to grow and eventually they pressed a cd of the record. Before long, they got some love from a former full-time music journalist by the name of David Fricke, who now just happened to work himself up to Senior Editor in a little monthly magazine you might have heard of, Rolling Stone.
