Rogue Wave

At first listen, it might be easy to simply dismiss Rogue Wave an just another indie band with catchy hooks and sensitive lyrics by an omnipotent frontman. I did when first introduced. Further listenings, however, have opened my mind to this band . The catchy hooks and sensitive lyrics are still there, but there is a substance to their music I didn't get at first. Which makes the September 18th release of their new record, "Asleep at Heaven's Gate," all that much more exciting. That and the two songs that have been leaked by the band (linked below) are both solid. Pre-order the new album from Insound and get a free 7" of Lake Michigan and an exclusive B-side.
